Perfomances As Of End June 09

It’s the time of the month again where I review my month end performances. But this time round I think I need to really look into this much more deeper. As June closes, it means half of the year has gone. So how did I fair? After numerous thoughts, and action change and philosophical ideals, did my performances changed?

Let’s have a look…

June09

Last month I came out slightly better… and it seems that I am slowly moving out of the rut from a month end total lost of $417 in April to -$65 in May and profit of $20.90 in June 09. Just to note… I have to deduct $100 because I added another $100 into my FXDD account to start trading Forex Barometer.

Overall my last half month was a failure. I have taken myself back $225 from my objective to recoup my initial capital. I am really hoping to break even by the end of this year, which is my target and goal for 2009.

And once that is done, my target is to recoup my initial investments on buying all these forex EA by mid 2010. Subsequently start profiting after mid 2010.

Bold? I don’t know… but at least it’s a goal.

In Support Of the Innocent

Filed Under (Journal) by Casey on 05-06-2009

It has come to a point where I start to continue to think what is right and wrong. When I wrote my post on Scam, Sham and All that is Bullshit! I realize that apart from my bottom line, one must make a stand when it comes to this industry.

Yes, I have been guilty of downloading some EAs for free, cracking the codes and freely using it like there is no tomorrow… while I also have been a good boy and buying a few EA myself. Most of them were $hite…

So… I would like to use this site as a vehicle to promote those that are innocent… Well… more like promote those that I currently used LIVE on my account.

This is in support of those that are ‘innocent’ and has a good nature of probably improving their proprietary EA that these EA authors developed.

On one hand, I know a lot of people do not want to spend money not knowing if a product is good or not. That’s the reason why it can be easily gotten for free over the internet, if one were to search hard for it.

On the other hand, this leaves the real proprietary EA author in a dilemma. It might or might not hinder them from developing or improving their EA.

The argument is that, if it’s so profitable, then why don’t they use the EA themselves? The reply would be, if they don’t share it OR sell it, how would people like you and me, who does not or might not have the time to learn MQL language and build our own EA or even get a chance to participate in the worlds biggest market…

Because of the need to bring innovation out to the market, scammers and bullshiters prey on people/end users like us… to make a quick buck. In this industry where scammers and bullshiters exist… one dares not enter or buy an EA with their own money…. Some would, but most won’t…

So the internet naturally regulate themselves. Review and EA Test sites pop up like mushroom so that consumers don’t get scammed. Sure they will test on their own platform and give them their reviews. But with so many variables like which broker they use and which settings they have changed all the more cause their reviews to probably be bias.

So what could beat all this? To ensure that one is getting the right product that works for oneself. We need to test it OURSELVES…

When we test it we can be sure that it is good and profitable. Only then we purchase it.

That is the reason why some do offer a demo EA. But with the decompiler software… that makes it tricky. So no more demo version.

One might suggest to open a demo account and past the information to the EA seller to prove it to you. But that takes a lot of the sellers resources to prove it… Like in Enterra’s case, they probably used their own desktop or VPS, set up an MT4 platform and then test it out over a period of time. They only gave me 2 weeks. And that does not guarantee a sales.

Is that enough? No… it’s not… 2 weeks shows you $hit. If my Alfafah forex experiences was ever an example, two weeks without even backtesting it might prove deadly.

So how?

Again…. we need to backtest it, demo test it and then probably live test it OURSELVES. If it’s good, then buy the original.

Now… I am going to be a partly hypocritical here, of all the three EA, only FAPTurbo was legally bought by me. Cyborg EA was cracked and Xtreme was forwarded to me…

Yes… money is a bit tight for me. And as you can see… my bottom line has been messed up countless times. That’s the price I pay…

Having said that… Whatever my reason could be, I am going to make it up to these sellers and also to the potential buyers… You can download it from my library… back test it, forward test it and put it live… And if you are profitable, then I encourage you to buy the original…

For the EA that I used, I will give back what they call a rebate… or I will package it in such a way that you get maximum value for your purchase. I will need to figure out how to package it first. But it will be done…

My principles here needs to be fine tuned. So that everyone can be profitable…

I was really procrastinating doing this update. I am so ashamed and do not want to accept the fact that May 09 was not as profitable as I wanted it to be.

Plainly… it was again due to stupidity. Sighh…. oh well… it needs to be done so that I can review previous month and correct it again this month.

Here is my result for end May 09

A Deal Strucked

Call it coincidences or whatever it maybe. Over the past few days has been pretty interesting. EA Boss, FAPTurbo and FPA. I must admit it was pretty interesting.

But my focus is still the bottom line in my live account . Wanted to post this but I was busy trying to get my demo running and my live account ready for this week. Added one or two new EA on my account… Now it is rock and roll time!!!

Anyway…. back to my main story. FAPTurbo contacted me a few days ago… We exchange an email or two…. And we agreed on somethings.

While I still doubt as to who are the guys behind FAPTurbo, I again will state that I do not doubt the product. I am currently using it and still using it. While it is not perfect these past month… I believe it would continue to make money. As long as I keep to the 2% rule, I should be alright.

Anyway, I propose a thing or two with them and they agreed. I in turn have to take down the open source code of FAPTurbo from my site.

I also told them the truth about me knowing how to crack their ID KEY. They did not bother. I would take that as they are alright with it. As long as I don’t distribute this ID KEY keygen.

So the deal was strucked between us… Funny huh how this goes… but who cares….

FAPTurbo vs REMExpert Part 2

Filed Under (EA System, Journal) by Casey on 16-05-2009

Ok… enough of blah blah… and getting back to work.

Previously I wrote a post FAPTurbo vs REMExpert and I compared how both these performed in comparison with each other. I also did mentioned that I would want to continue the testing for a few more weeks.

As of today… I think this will be the end of this comparison. I need to free up more resources to test new EA.

Previously my conclusion was ‘REMExpert manage to pull in 253.4 pips with 36 trades taken while FAPTurbo manage to pull in 156.3pips with 27 trades taken.’ between 16 April 2009 to 29 April 2009.

So now the testing continues from 4 May 2009 to 15 May 2009, ok ten days of trade. But results seem to have been tipped.  In that period, FAPTurbo manage to pull in 208.7pips with 40 trades and REMExpert pull in 130.1 pips with 30 trade.

So in total from (16 April 2009 – 29 April 2009; 4 May 2009 – 15 May 2009)

FAPTurbo got 365.0 pips over 67 trades
REMExpert got  383.5 pips over 66 trades

Isn’t it Ironic

I’m just so stressed, stressed, stressed.

Juggling between my day time job, family, forex trading, lossing money, winning money, update my site, replying to emails… Sigghhh…..

It’s a real pain at times at times when not everything are in sync.

Ok… I was just ranting up there. Now to my post. Oh before that, I was drafting a post but when I received this email I thought maybe this would be more interesting.

After FPA contacted me and release a news press on it’s forum

http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-forum/scam-alerts-folder/4695-grand-theft-ea.html

EA BOSS team contacted them and ask them to remove the posts. And will supply the open codes to them. So what FPA did was copied me and FAPTurbo abuse team and ask them to include us both into the discussion.

I was like “What?!?! Me and FAPTurbo abuse team?!?!”

When You Thought…

When I started out this blog, I wrote that Forex EA would be a breeding ground for scammers. And I think I hit the nail with it. But on the other hand anything that has to do with internet is a breeding round for scammers… All you need to do is find the opportunity and exploit it to the max!

When you are good people will copy you… when I say copy I mean literally.

As time goes by, I seem to believe more and more that FAPTurbo is in it’s pure sense original. Why? Is it because it is popular or is it because FAPTurbo is indeed a profitable product.

If it was, then people would sure copy it. If it is not then… screw it. Let’s move on to the next EA.

What’s my point? Well… my point is, FAPTurbo is profitable. We just need to use it properly. It is profitable because people are actually coping it.

After stumbling upon REMExpert. I stumble upon this site. Ok.. I did not actually stumble upon this site. A visitor as usual ask me to decompile an EA. So I decompile it, saw the link and voila….

This is what I found….

Going VPS…

Previously I decided against subscribing to VPS because I calculated that my profits were not enough to cover the monthly cost. That was the justification I gave. But now after doing more analysis on all my MT4 platform. I decided that it is time to go VPS.

Here is one of the reason why

It’s a Kind of Magic

As usual… here is another bullshit piece.

The Forex Magic Machine (http://theforexmagicmachine.com). I written previously about this… actually nope… I wrote other articles produce by what I believe to be the same people who brough you EA like Forex Fantasy, Forex Maestro, Semi Automatic… and now… another exotic EA came courtesy of

I previously wanted to do a write up when again all the Stupid Old EA seller started blasting my inbox with this new up and coming EA. Because I had my hand full with my own problems, I decided not to give it a whack at it…

But now since it’s release a few days ago… I was not surprise when someone forward to me this forum thread…

http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/commercial-expert-advisors/1302-magic-machine-ea.html

And another very kind visitor forward to me his copy of Magic Machine. And with his blessing he said I could share it with you all.

Anyway… that’s not my point…. My point is to dig deeper. I said before I ‘believe’ this to be a work of the same guy…

Performance as of End April 09

I really hesitated doing this performance review of my last months trading activity. Embarrassing… but it has to be done. The only way for me to move forward. With my game plan drafted. Now I need to start managing my robots properly.

Ha… it’s nice being the boss. I can kick and screw the EA if they are not performing for me :)

But I think I will treat these robot trading like soldiers. Beef them up during demo testing and then send them to war on my live account.

Ok… enough day dreaming. It’s time to count the casualties.

As of End March 08 this is my standing…

So sad… Took out my last two months profit Ouch!! 413.07
