The Leprechaun just Stabbed me

Filed Under (Journal) by Casey on 21-03-2011

Argh…. the pain!! the pain!!!

Yesterday… I believe was one of the those days where every scalping EA that trades EURCHF and EURGBP got hit… But nothing hit me worst the the Leprechaun that have been so good to me until it turned bad…

This just reminds me of the movie… Leprechaun. And of course I am referring to the EA CloveriX.

Just when I was about to prepare a nice page to promote CloveriX, I got stabbed.

Argh… the agony…

It is always interesting to note here that every time I am like ‘Weeee…. this EA rocks!!’ and the next thing I know it… ‘Bam!!!’ I just got fu(ked…

I think I have document this cycle very well on my blog. I guess that was one of the reason after so long I never talked about CloveriX because I was waiting for shit to hit this EA.

I mean… think about it. I have been putting this EA on trial and having fun with it for sometime and I never really talked about it. And when I dedicate a post to this EA…

This is what happens….

Bitch!!!

To get myself sucked into a forex product if it is being sold ala internet marketing style.

If you were an internet marketeer… this is the site you want to take as an example to flog your product to suckers like me. Every internet marketing style and strategy are exemplified here. Front end, back end, upsell, downsell, rightsell left sell… email, gmail, xmail… you name it… you can find it here…

And the site that I am talking about it ProTradeCopyCat.com. (Trading flaw my a$$) Now I know for one thing that signal copier would be the next thing in forex ea but after what I have seen yesterday… I still think it will be the next thing but not in this manner…

Let me describe to you my experiences…

When the page was launched… it was damn bloody long… as long the as video presentation. Blah blah blah… all of marketing 101, 102, 103 was being displayed. Long winded and very much annoying with all the different fonts and colors.

I know what was it all about… So I just head on the the bottom download link to see what I am getting myself into. There you have it…

Oh My Gawd! I nearly Died!

There is this new forex product coming out that seems to be kicking up a storm. Ok may not kicking up a storm… but I am getting a number of emails with regards to this product…

Pro Trade Copycat Forex by David Henderson.

Now who the hell is David Henderson? $hit if I know… I tried searching on the net but can’t really find or see who he is or was… Apparently David Henderson is a very common name in Britain.

Anyway… it seems that copy trading is the next thing or angle in forex ea. Since now Forex EA seems to be protected via a remote hosts, some forex ea developer seems to think that probably coping trade would make more sense… Not only is their algorithm protected… They can start charging a monthly subscription fee.

So… forex trade being remotely sent to you. Great isn’t it? But… what if the trade signal is shit?!

Ok… Today is not the post about forex signal… It’s a post about this new product.

The Bite out of the Pocket

Filed Under (Journal) by Casey on 08-03-2011

Just a couple of moments ago… I published my ‘Deal and Store’ on FX-Pitbull. And it seems that Pitbull is taking a bite out of the Forex EA industry…

It’s just gruesome…. It use to be $199 but not it’s $799!!!

Either the developer is crazy and would rather make one sales at $800 then 4 sales at $200…

Or this EA has been around for a long time and the developer is confident of it’s performances.

Now I have no issue wanting to push this product… I use it and it seems to be yield some interesting results.

In my previous post about Pitbull, I wrote on how I first blew up my Alpari account on Pitbull (The Bull is Down in the Pits) and then I did a second try… with a smaller lot and here is the result…

This Be Thy Leprechaun?

Filed Under (EA System) by Casey on 18-02-2011

I have never really talk about this in particular EA in great length but I did mention this EA here and there on my blog.

CloveriX EA

I think the developer of this EA is Irish…

Previously when he release this EA… Oh… this EA have been around for a while it’s just that the developer choose to discontinue the sales of this EA during the hype of EA industry….

As I was saying… when he release his EA… His site was decorated in a very greenish sort of theme and the base of it all was a four leave clover. And when I think of four leave clovers I think of Ireland, I think of Guinness, I think of Murphy’s law, I think of Leprechaun, I think of Rainbow….

Anyway… CloveriX is not your kind of sexy EA where everybody talks about it and want a piece of the action. No… this EA is no $lut in the EA world. And certainly not the sort of EA where one can find a huge pot of gold…

Many people knows of it… but somehow or rather they ever talk a lot about it. Go to any forum site and CloveriX thread is just a few pages long. No deep discussion about what this EA is all about. Most people think it’s a myth or scam or nothing more than a two cent EA.

On top of that, the developer seems to keep a low profile so much like a Leprechaun. People heard of it and just dismiss it as a myth. As quickly as it was launched it was quickly taken down.

I think the developer did a good move. Take it down when the hype was at it’s peak and recently putting it back for sale again when the market is pretty matured and settled.

While this is not a huge pot of gold… I believe it is a pot of gold where this could be an EA which you might want to think about having as part of your EA portfolio.

Results speaks louder than any words written on the internet…. Read the rest of this entry »

Prime vs Kain (A year later)

Filed Under (EA System) by Casey on 17-02-2011

I don’t know if it’s a coincidences… probably it is…

About a year ago I posted this article Prime vs Kain http://BestForexEA.com/2010/02/prime-vs-kain/ Of course at that time, it was still ‘too early to say’

Yesterday I just exhibited my Primeval and EAKain (ScalperPro) for the world to see… Ok only 3 months worth of data for the world to see. Could have shown more but I think it was three months ago that I started messing about with my accounts.

So what you see is an apple to apple comparison from the day I switch my account to EUR from USD and put these two ‘heavy weights’ in action

Just to recap again… Read the rest of this entry »

Forex Exhibitionism

Filed Under (Journal) by Casey on 16-02-2011

Love it or hate it… I read in some interesting article somewhere in the internet universe that people just love to see what other people are doing and they will subsequently laugh, cry and get all emotional up with you.

And because of that, some people just love to show off their.. *ahem* or should I say expose themselves. Then again… there is an exhibitionist is all of us.

Do you have a facebook account? Do you have MySpace account? Do you have a Twitter account?

If you answer yes to any of that questions… than the chances are that you are an exhibitionist.

By the way… two cool articles to read

However… if you have a myfxbook account… then chances are that you are a forex exhibitionist…

“Casey, what is all this rambling about?” you might ask…

Old is Gold

Looking for the best forex ea?

Sometimes we don’t really have to look so hard. If you are like me who has tons of EA in an old disk drive, it’s probably a good idea to relook into that folder and see if one have missed out anything.

And being somewhat a conservative person that I sometimes am, it’s probably a good idea to relook revisit old EA and see if it is still valid.

And it’s no surprise that I continue to revisit FAPTurbo and it’s clowns… I mean clones.

Sometime at the end of November, I put these EA into demo… Who’s the boss on FAP Expert?

It was more of an apple to apple comparison to see which were the better EA amongst them. I mean since EABoss and REMExpert were riding on FAPTurbo’s codes, one of them have to be better than the other… Right?

So… let’s have a look shall we? (Note: As of today I have stopped all three of these demo account)

No guess here who came out first….

FIRST PLACE: EABoss
SECOND PLACE: FAPTurbo
THIRD PLACE: REMExpert

Now… if you notice… EA Boss and FAPTurbo have a closer similarity curve then REMExpert. Having said that… I notice that some trades between these three EA were the same.

I mean what do you expect… the base of the codes were the same. The changes between each other… errrr…. Don’t know… but they are a bit different.

So… obviously… the next thing to do is put EABoss on live… which I kind of did that about a month ago…

Don’t have to search far and wide for the best EA… As long as it is profitable… and currently it is… just use it.

Of course till some $hit happens… I’ll cross the bridge when I get there….

What’s Up Doc

Every year I celebrate two New Year… One is the English New Year which falls on the 1st day of the 1st month of the new year base on the Roman/English calendar… While the Chinese New Year other is the 1st day of the 1st month of the new year base on the Chinese calendar…

Both these dates are very important to me… While one is the time where we reflect what we did the year before and seek a resolve or objective to achieve in the new year, the other however is very significant to the Chinese because it’s all about money and about trying to bring luck into their lives and accumulate good fortune during that year…

There will be a lot of culture or tradition to follow… things that needs to be done to welcome the god of fortune… And one of the aspect that gives every single Chinese a reason to gamble to ‘test’ their fortune.

I am no exception to this celebratory tradition. I find it an excuse to gamble… for the fun of it… Yes… these is such thing as gambling for the fun of it.

However… this year is particularly an exciting year for me… Why?

Because it is MY YEAR!

Stacking It Up

Filed Under (Journal) by Casey on 22-01-2011

One of the things I do as an EA trader is to build my EA portfolio… It is not an uncommon thing to do. In fact, it is the most logical thing to do.

Logically speaking, when we put a few different type of EA on an account, what we are doing is ‘diversifying’ our risk on an EA or not depending on only one EA to assist us in our trading quest. One EA might take a losing trade while the other EA might take a winning trade… At the end of it all, the sum of all the trade must equal to profits. That is the idea behind building our EA portfolio.

If the sum of all trades does not yield us profits… then we tweak our portfolio by finding good EAs and removing the lousy ones.

Anyway… that was what I have been doing all this while… Building my EA portfolio… and it is not an easy task. It took me time and patience and of course with a bit of help from the forum communities and of course pen pals which I have accumulated over these two years.

Ideas were implemented and discarded. EAs were tested, added and remove.
