Forex Martingale Showcase IV – FX Pitbull

Woof! Woof! Bark! Grrrr…. Bark! Bark! Grrrr… Woof!

Yes, I know Fido. I was looking at it when it was launched a few months back…

Bark! Bark! Woof!

Well… I did not look deeper into it because I was focusing more on Scalping EA… and not much on Martingale EA eventhough it looked interesting.

Grrrr….

I know… I know… the developer busted a few demos when he was displaying it on his myfxbook… Why do you think I put it my thoughts on this EA on hold?

Woof! Woof! Woof!

Ok Fido… why don’t you be a good boy and sit. Let me tell this story…

About three weeks ago… the developer made a mass email to a few EA reviewers to test out his EA by giving a free copy to them. I was honored to be one of them. So of course I had to take jump at this opportunity.

If you don’t know it yet, Pitbull EA and Martin Locker King (MLK for short) was developed by the same developer.

You can actually check out his myfxbook page.

Previously he added a lot of different demo and live account with different brokers. And now as of the time of this writing, he has only two different demo… MLK on Live and Pitbull on demo. I am kind of skeptical about the amount in his MLK live account.

Because it could be a micro account, so putting his micro money where is EA is leaves something to think about. And I know for a fact that eGlobal offers micro account.

Anyway… seeing for myself is believing and believing in seeing for myself.  Micro or standard it does not matter… it might or it might not work… I do not know but let me take a more conservative approach.

I thus usual then start backtesting these two EA over 10 year period… Since Pitbull catered for all the currency pair… I started with Pitbull… I only back test on a few popular currency pair, that is because those were the only currency pair data that I had. I was kind of took the approach to backtest it first with my current available currency pair data then see if I want to test it on other currency pair.

Much to my surprise… I got almost all aces with Pitbull…

AUDCAD

AUDUSD

EURCHF

EURGBP

EURUSD

GBPJPY

—————————————————
USDJPY

However… while all of these curve look nice and interesting, after much detail look into the statistics… Most of these currency pair yielded very high drawdown rates… and you can actually tell which currency pair it is by the long spike.

(I couldn’t be ask to upload the statement because I kind of know no one will actually want to see the huge statement) Nevertheless, if anyone wants to see it let me know and I will forward my backtesting results to you.

Anyway…. I believe that you can guess which currency pair will look more interesting to toy around with. Namely, AUDCAD, EURCHF and EURUSD. So the conclusion is simple. Put these three currency Pitbull pair to my Megan account.

While on the other hand… I have put all these currency pair into my demo account here.

But it seems like only AUDCAD, AUDUSD and EURUSD seems to be firing up some trades.

Interesting no??
