Hallelujah!!! The Lord has answered my prayer!!

I asked the all Mighty if and whether my Lovely Megan can be improved and my prayers came with a Blessing.

My Lovely Megan has been so far and consistently achieving around 6% return over the past 3 months.  I would say *fingers crossed* that it has been achieving my monthly goal of 5% return so far. And I have always been wondering if this can be improved without risking too much.

With so many cases of getting Martingale strategy blown on my face. Lovely Megan was the only strategy that I have been very cautious with and so far been successful with… again so far. But like any Martingale strategy that is worth his or her salt. It needs to be tested and tested and tested. If it does not past through the backtesting with flying colors (Like the graph above) then I dump it.

So this EA Blessing was the next one that I had to put rigorous testing of each currency pair. One after another after another after another after another… Finally… when all was lost… The result above proved time worth spent.

Now this EA while it is considered new to me, it has been around for a long time. And the developer Jeff Hubbard (http://www.jtatoday.com/) has done great work on it where version 5.2 seems to be his latest work. Like any trader, he knows full well the danger of his EA. In his manual, he describe the methodology behind his EA, the calculation, and explanations. Full education style kind of manual.

Bless his soul for giving his work away for free.

Anyway… the ONLY currency pair that made it was EURCHF. Even Megan’s currency pair of EURGBP and AUDUSD failed. I kind of concluded that there is a Martingale system for each currency pair. Only thing is to find it…

So now, the next step is to put it live. What amazes me is that the drawdown was only around 10%. Great huh… The assumption here is that… small risk, with good return.

With the Lords ‘Blessing’… I am hoping that my monthly return can be pushed a bit higher without risking too much.

However, with such optimism I have to be weary. As it is said… “The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away”. I hope and pray that HE does not taketh my profith awayth….
