This is just a quick update… Since I was being nostalgic and taking a look at FAPTurbo again on my previous post… I thought it would be interesting to see if it’s next generation robot… FAP Evolution did any better…

I think Donna was experimenting with her settings a bit but it doesn’t surprise me at all. I had Evo for a while and I wasn’t impressed. The guys are a bunch of idiots.
They were giving everyone BS saying the poor performance was due to poor liquidity in the holiday season and it would pick up in September. Well guess what it didn’t. Of course the real problem is too many people were using it, some with large sums of money. I’m glad I got a refund.
In the end I wrote my own scalper for Dukascopy but the Asian session is now so poor that even with good executions there’s little money in it with FAPTurbo style systems.
I’m experimenting with non Asian sessions now but currently have more luck manual trading.

Sigh…. i have always meaning to get myself to learn MQ4… but I keep procrastinating….

If MartyGale wrote for Dukas platform it was in java not MT4. Even more impressive …huh? I kept my EVO. Liquidity problem has gone away, but now the problem is that EVO enters trades on the wrong side of the trend. The old code assumes a tunnel market during Asian session and expects to exit before London open by entering and exiting positions while inside the tunnel. However, the market has been following the risk appetite trend during the Asian session. I tried to explain that to the developers. Meanwhile I’ve been trading manually and have recovered all EVO losses. I still would like an EA to trade during the asian session.
@SquareRoot…. I can only imagine how impressive it could be… An EA that would trade during all hours is what I would really really like…

I program for a living so I have a bit of a head start
Trading is the area where I still have some learning to do, well at least keep an open mind.
@SquareRoot, are you trading manually during the Asian? What do you think EVO could do to tackle the problem?
@Casey, yes I often dream of an EA that’s scalps all day. The biggest problem is the major moves during the day. eg. RSI can be screaming sell but the price can still go through the roof.

Totaly agree , Ive been making a full time living from Forex for 5 years now , I make more in a month then i use to in a year now
