After just one loss I am already feeble about placing the next trade. That´s why I like automated system, but still I tend to interfere with the black box and alter results. However, successful trading does exist, perhaps not in the form of EAs, as they produce completely different results at different brokers and for different people running them. Lately I am following the trading signals of fxbosstrading.com, which I learned about from FPA http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/test_lab/forex_signals_performance.
It is very tough following the signals because they arrive anytime day or night. But it´s only about two trades per day. Now I just need to adjust my life around an SMS and a way to be able to place trades and make around 1,000 pips per month (that’s what they have performed for over two years). I am receiving the signals with a few minutes to place them and get the same results shown on FPA.

Onur, you make a good point. Obviously I prefer automated EAs. But I just haven´t found anything truly consistent across the board. For example, PipsLeader bit the dust on 4xproject.com while it was number one for last 3 months on another live test. When I am convinced that RoboMiner is good, another site says it is just waiting to be caught against a strong trend. What to say about Casey´s long quest to turn profitable, just to be hit with another surprise?

Can you say more about the sources of those MT4Live statements?

I trade since 2003 and i ve been through every rollercoaster ride possible on forex trading. 2006 I met two traders with programming skills and since than we work on own EAs, mostly based on Martingale, but with a lot of whistles and bells on it.
