Wow… if there is a useful EA that one needs to have, then you got to have this man…
Call me ignorant… but I have not scout around the forum long enough to really look for an EA such as this.
Ok… it’s not an EA per say but it’s more like a tool. After I publish my previous article “Rem”ing the Brake on Xtreme Turbo, Jeremy for Easy-EA.com (Winalot and EAzeGor) read it and though it would be great for me to have his Trade Analyzer.
You wouldn’t believe how grateful I was… This really neat piece of tool which actually help me to filter my trades as per my post below in a more comprehensive manner….
Check this out!!
Sorry… but you might have to click to view the image clearly. Or squinch your eyes like this kid here to view…
I think these screen shot needs adjustments. Ok… will do that in my future posts. Still need to do some adjustment to the report.
But it’s awesome man!!! With just a few clicks I can see so many things…. What took me about a day to filter and sort out all the trades from my excel spreadsheet, this pretty neat tool took me about 15 minutes to set up and churn out these datas.
Previously I had to call upon my excel spreadsheet skills and wisdom to come up with formulas and shortcuts to really filter each trade as per magic number. If that was not difficult enough, there were so many ‘IF’ formula on one cells that it totally could not handle anymore ‘IF’s execution…
Anyway, this tool assumes that all your EA has a magic number and it correspond to this magic number to extract and filter the information. So if you have an EA with no magic number like in the case of Transformer and Pipzu… you do get data which is somewhat questionable.
Another thing to note… some of my EA uses two different magic number on the same currency. Like FAPTurbo, the older version uses a different magic number vs the newer version. So if I were to extract the latest magic number, any trades taken from the older version will not be recorded unless, I create another new column on this tool.
But from the results it more or less reflects the result from my table on the previous posts.
Awesome…. just awesome. And it’s not that expensive… It’s only EUR20 and you get a lifetime license…. Apart from that, this license is for numerous broker account on 1 PC…
This is a tool to have if one were to have say 5 EA running on 10 charts, and want to analyze the trades and take corrective actions should one thinks a particular EA is not performing well on a particular currency pair like me…
On a personal note… this is a tool that I will need to continue to view my weekly report on how my EA are doing. Since my Alpari account is the only account that has about 8 EA running all at once…With the risk of scalping stop loss eating into my profits… this should help me take corrective action to ensure that I am always on the profit zone…
Well… let see if this tool will help me regain back my profits loss.
Say… who says an EA has to be only about trading…. Awesome… Just awesome….

Hey Casey – it looks as though we are on parallel tracks. Look at my “I demand a Recount” blog entry in http://thebotfarm.com/?p=357 – just like you I had struggled to find the culprits for my EAs’ poor performance. And just as with you, Jeremy rode to the rescue with his Trade Analyser. It has made all the difference to how I manage my account and enabled me to get rid of all of the guilty parties much more quickly. So, goodbye Pipzu, Boomerang, Extreme and FapTurbo on everything except EURCHF. With that new source of info, what are your top 5 EAs so far on a pips per trade basis?
Wow Mark… Jeremy did good on your account huh??
Well… I have to wait and see… so far… EAezGor is down for me… but if ever your results are anything to show for it would then it would give me the faith to keep going…
Jeremy did mention on how you did close some trade manually on EAezGor… I did the same… and ouch that was a lesson.
I believe if I did not manually intervene, my results would not be so bad. That’s the thing with trending EA… when I monitor it, I sometimes $hit on my pants when on one moment it is up and the next moment it is in the red.
The impulse to take profit is either a good thing or a bad thing… Sighh…. I think I should stick to automatic rather than manual intervention….
I’m pleased to have helped, Casey, and I’m glad that you found the analyser useful.
So that you know, maual trades have the magic number 0 (zero), so you can enter 0 into the “Magic” field and your symbol name into the “Pair” field and it will give you the results for any EAs which don’t have a magic number. Unfortunately, it will also include any manual trades that you might have taken but I can’t help that I’m afraid.
Also, if you change your account history dates, you can see how the EAs have performed over a week, a month, a year, or whatever timespan you choose.
Enjoy!
