Up…  up… and away!!!

Don’t know why but I am excited about going VPS with my forex robot trading. Makes me feel that I am really running a business here.

It’s like setting up a virtual office and moving out from my home desktop to set up shop somewhere. Renovating the place or rather setting up all the MT4 platform on my new shop. And then setting out my robots to mine the forex field.

So…. WELCOME to MY VPS….

Now it’s seeing how if or rather VPS would help me improve my profits. While I am still a bit skeptical about the downtime in comparison with my home internet connection.

While Onur did commented saying that VPS would not stop my erratic login on and off from the server, I still feel that it should make a differences.

I mean if not, why else bothered about VPS if it’s only about leaving your desktop on 24/7 right?? Right?? (Looking for some confirmation here)

So now, I am going to mess my head up justifying why I should go VPS… Dang! I should be doing this before I dived into VPS.

Why VPS?

1. I don’t need to leave my desktop on 24/7… no… I mean 24/5.
2. I don’t need to share my resources with my demo account. Yes, my VPS is solely for my live account.
3. I can check my forex performances anywhere in the world as long as there is an internet connection.

Hmmm…. what else?

I think reason two is the one that strikes me as the best reason. It was either I buy a new desktop, with a new internet connection to solely trade my live account without any interruption from my demo account.

Previously, my demo and my live account are fighting for the bandwidth on my internet connection. One of the strong reason that I believe on my hypothesis that I maybe losing out on trades because of the delay in submitting my order or delay in signals received.

But I do not think this hypothesis is supported, because I do not see any alert or indication on the MT4 journal which says that the trades was not taken.

Maybe I am just looking for an excuse to justify my losses previously.

Whatever the reason it maybe… I just want to be sure. Forex trading is a business. Let’s not create any more additional variables because the bottom line is what counts and currently my bottom line is not all that impressive.

SWVPS.com is great and setting up all my account is a bit tedious but now it’s all good. My shop has been set up… and ready for some REAL LIVE BUSINESS.
