Going VPS…

Previously I decided against subscribing to VPS because I calculated that my profits were not enough to cover the monthly cost. That was the justification I gave. But now after doing more analysis on all my MT4 platform. I decided that it is time to go VPS.
Here is one of the reason why

My internet signal or my communication with the broker keeps dropping and it seems to be very erratic. So now, the question that came up to my mind was am I losing out on profitable trades?
I am beginning to believe the answer is YES.
Why? I have three Alpari account… One Demo, Two Live (Apart from my own account I am managing another person’s account)
All these three accounts are using both FAPT and REMExpert.
For the demo account I am trading apple for apple. Meaning I trade all the four pair to make an apple to apple comparison between these two EA.
For both my live account I am trading only three pair with FAPT I left gpbchf out on my live trade because FAPT never takes or rarely takes a trade due to high spread. REMExpert has been taking more trades on GBPCHF so I stick with REM for that currency pair.
One thing I notice is that between all these three accounts, not one of them are making similar trades. One of my accounts was showing that sort of log…
So while I am making money on demo I am not on both my live account and between my two live account, I am making more than the other.
Thus, I have come to a conclusion. My ISP sucks big time and my inconsistent communication with my broker maybe making me lose some profitable trades… which would help me in out gunning my lousy trades.
On top of that… I am running 3/4 live account and 4 demo account. That not only take up a lot of resources on my desktop but it also takes up a lot of bandwidth on my internet connection.
Is 20bucks a month worth the expense to ensure better upload time? You bet your tutu it should be worth it… Having said that, I can not say for sure that by going VPS my trades between all these three accounts using FAPT and REM would be consistent BUT I won’t know until I try…
Now I am going to SWVPS.com to subscribe to VPS…..

About those failed connections
Your problem or broker problem?
I’m asking that because i also have failed connection to some brokere’s but my internet connection is alive and kicking
I do not think it is the broker… The screenshot was only from on of my alpari account… While my other two account… There was no such login problem.
Yeah.. I should have taken that screenshot too just to show that point. And it was actually this differences that made me decided to go VPS.
I think it is more bandwidth than the internet connection itself… Don’t know… l will need to test it out to see if there is actually a differences.
alpari UK runs 4 or 5 servers for the live acc.
I noticed several times when one was down the others still running and i switched to the beeing up servers
VPs dont prevent u when this happens.
So you are saying it’s the broker and the server that each account is on…
That makes sense. But I guess it’s too late. Already subscribe to SWVPS…
So let see if I still face this problem….
hi r u facing still same problem ? And how much metatrader account u can hold on one account of ur vps ?
Well… not so for Alpari anymore but am facing this problem with FXOpen…. So it’s true… it’s the bloody server and not my internet connection. But I seem to see more consistent trades since going onto VPS.
I guess that’s because I don’t run my demo and live together. Demo do take out some of my internet bandwidth…
As for how many MT4 account on my VPS… I got 5 account running. With SWVPS.com I got 700MB RAM… and 5 account. I am only using 300MB RAM. So by that calculation, believe I can fit another 5 more MT4…
