Sometime ago.. I written an article ‘Finally Decompiled’ which was interpreted as a ‘how to crack’ article. It was deemed to be revealing to much and subsequently the articles was reported and my suspended my account for about 2 hours. When I found out about it, I manage to call support and they guide me through their guideline of what can and what can’t be used.

Again… my writing wasn’t articulated well and my english… well it could be better. And probably I was a bit tad arrongant… I mean I felt that I was the first one to discover the way to unlock the ID KEY to the best forex EA (from my point of view) without reversing the codes too much.

So below will be the edited version of my previous article. This is being edited for clarity purpose and to only show how I open up a ‘toy’ to see what is inside. And to show and explain the flaw the exist in this ‘toy’ . I will try to write my article in a way that it will not cross the border of ‘how to crack’ or anything to do with ‘hacking’

Fortunately for me, the word ‘decompile’ is allowed by my webhosting company…

So here goes…. Let see if this edited version will get my account suspended again…

Since getting the decompiler, my first order of business was obviously to decompile my best forex EA at this moment which is FAPTurbo. I not only manage to decompile FAPTurbo 36 but also FAPTurbo 37.

FAPTurbo is the BEST FOREX EA to date. Check Clickbank stats and you will see FAPTurbo is the number one sale in the money category. It’s no surprise. It’s been proven time and time again that FAPTurbo really works. Unless you are greedy and over trade…

Yes, it is amusing sometimes to read the forum and people just says FAPTurbo sucks. It does not work. They burn their account. But one of the reason or most of the reason is that they either got a lousy broker or they OVERTRADE.

So anyway… I have decompile FAPTurbo 36 and 37. Just browse through the codes. I know some or little programming and it is not enough to debug or understand it at a glance. If I put in more time and patience than maybe. But I was not in the mood.

Anyone with FAPTurbo 36 and 37 will find that 37 is a much bigger file than 36. Did not notice? Well, it’s ok. I did not notice the first or second time round or even third time round. I only notice it when I started to decompile 37 and it took a longer than usual time to decompile.

Initially I though it was due to v37 was build on MT4 221 but I realize that it was not. It’s just that the file was big.

Is it important? I don’t know. One thing I tried looking between both these files and found that there were not much modifications to the files or the structure.

Will it improve the robot? I don’t know. Could not backtest it. (That is another problem I am facing now which I will leave it to another post)

Another thing I notice is that I believe that they maybe exploring different languages. Because it seems that the code they are inserting different language into the files…

UPDATED: Apparently they are exploring russian language. Expanding their market I believe…

Again, the file was very extensive and I can’t make heads and tales of it.

The dll files still looks the same. I believe they have hid quite a number of execution in their dll files. I notice two very important things that they have hid under their dll files. LICENSE and ID KEY. These are the two most important programmings which will allow people to use this robot for FREE.

I however have found a flaw in the files which allowed me to use both the files even when the license has expired.

Notice the smiley and the License date  This flaw seems was solved when one of the logic was changed. If you are familiar, FAPTurbo expires end 23 March 09 and FAPTurbo37 subsequently was only issued after 23 March 09. So in a way… you can’t use both FAP36 and FAP37 simultaneously.

Anyway, the ID KEY are the same because it is of the same. When they created the upgrade, it seems that all you needed was the have the ID KEY set once and you can use the any upgrade from FAPTurbo. It is good for it’s customers because the license keeps expiring every 3 months and you need to upgrade your files every 3 months.

It will be a hassle if you also need to keep updating your KEY… Anyway, I am testing live for both these EA (fapturbo 36 and 37) at the same time so see if 37 is an improvement to 36.

UPDATE: I believe that they will be updating their ID KEY after FAP37 expires since I have also discovered the flaw which allow me to use over few different account .

Now this excitement nearly cost me a bomb!!

You see, when I was testing both these EA out, I had to change the some parameters, lot size and magic number in the property page to differentiate the trade between both these EA.

Much to my carelessness, I had set one of the EA to trade at 0.8 where my intention was to set it at 0.08 while the other set was suppose to be 0.1.

Now this carelessness nearly cost me big.. Because at 0.8 my drawdown was almost at 40%!!!

I took a float lost of almost $600 bucks!! I was petrified, scared… I could not close it… I dare not, I nearly sh!t on my pants.

But I was lucky… The trade move back up and stop at a small lost of $50.

Phew… that was really close. You should have seen it when it was floating at the bottom. If it hit the stop loss, I would have been $800 down!!

The lesson I took from this is to be careful…. be very very careful. So this is where I am going to drive home my previous point of people OVERTRADING and lost their money out flat.

MONEY MANAGEMENT IS THE KEY. You may have the best EA or trading system in the world. But if you don’t keep to the money management rule or risking between 2% to 5% of your trading capital. You are bound to blow up your money.

Some of them are trading $500 at 0.5 lot against probably a leverage of 1:200. It is not enough… You are bound to hit a snag. No one EA is perfect or even a holy grail. Loses and drawdown are expected. The smaller the lot the lower the loses and drawdown. Obviously profits will be small… but start small and don’t be greedy.

Sorry but it needs to be repeated again and again. Especially to myself. I need to remind myself that I need to build my profits slowly. More winning trades than losing trades, but my net should be positive….

That is one of the reason why people who says that this EA does not work because they are overtrading. Another would be because they don’t have the right broker…

I have hinted this over and over again on my blog. Not all broker are created equal. FAPTurbo suggests that you use their broker FXCBS… Never heard of it and frankly speaking I don’t try broker that are not popular. Heard too many stories of how brokers just close trades for you, deduct your profits don’t want to pay your money…

ALPARI UK so far has done great for me. If you trading this robot… USE ALPARI UK. It has been proven to me without a doubt that this robot trades better with Alpari UK. So confident am I with Alpari UK that I have even increase my account balance to trade FAPTurbo on.

Obviously my performances are dictated by ALPARI. So, if my performances are screwed up, so is the broker..

SIDENOTE: It was funny how John never read my article on how I found the flaw on the ID KEY of FAPTurbo. And also my webhosting did not catch it. I have requested my webhosting to review my articles to ensure that I do not infringe their webhosting guidelines. And they gave me a clean bill of health… and subsequently lift the suspension of my site.

Anyway,  my other articles was also edited so it will leave no room for them to stop me from telling everyone what I see and share.
